About Nurtured Niche, LLC

"Nurtured” was chosen because after I realized how much I love creating and cardio dance, I’ve taken time to truly grow in both fields.  I've been growing as a group fitness instructor for over 7 years.  Most recently, I've spent over a year experimenting with different beads, string, and accent pieces for waist beads, even giving family/friends free strands in order to get feedback.  I’m not afraid of failing because I understand that it’s an opportunity to learn and improve.

“Niche” is two-fold.  My middle name is Nichelle.  I learned that my middle name was initially supposed to be Michelle, but my mom felt motivated mid-pregnancy to change it, which I find symbolic.

Additionally, Nurtured Niche has proven to be a synergistic way to merge my passions – mental, physical, and spiritual wellness, and crafting.  With Nurtured Niche, I can manage my own mental wellness while using my creativity and empowering others.

I wholeheartedly believe that waist beads and exercise are both a balance of mind and body.  They are expressions of appreciation and respect for your body, a celebration of yourself.
